We also carry filter cleaning solutions, cleaning brushes, water test strips, spa chemicals and more.  We recommend keeping a spare hot tub filter on hand so you can pop that one in when you take the dirty filter out to clean.  To help keep the spa water clean and for best water flow, remove the filter and rinse with a garden hose once a week, then soak it overnight - once a month - in a bucket with water and cleaning solution. Spa cartridge filters generally last up to 1 year, but replace yours earlier if it becomes dark grey/black or if the fibers are becoming frayed.
